Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger III

Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger III becomes a national hero after his superb flying skills saved the lives of 155 people. Ernest Hemingway once said "Courage is grace under pressure." New York Governor David Paterson hailed his exploits as the "miracle on the Hudson." But to those familiar with Sullenberger's background, his grace under pressure seems less a miracle than a feat befitting a decorated pilot and aviation safety expert.
